Here at Crush, sustainability has always been the heart of the brand & we want to show you how we can be planet friendly without having to give up on life’s little luxuries.
From the very first stage of harvesting, to the delivery of your crush piece, we ensure our process is mindful of the planet. Our supply chain is fully traceable and our 100% cashmere fibers are selected and knitted locally, we then ship direct from the makers to work shop. All our packaging is plastic free and made from recycled material. Once used, you can recycle the packaging too!
animal friendly Our supply chain is fully traceable, and our 100% cashmere fibres are selected and knitted at a local herding community in Mongolia. We partner with this group of herders as they take good care of their animals and treat them with love and respect. Meaning they comb the animals carefully, ensuring they are treated just as delicately as their coat. We have a long-term partnership with the local herders here and ensure the support of their livelihood and animals’ welfare. We believe that all animals, domestic and wild, should be treated with kindness, compassion and respect. The well-being of cashmere goats is fundamental to the sustainability of the CRUSH. production and represents a core pillar of our business. Cashmere can, and should, always be produced in a way that meets high animal welfare standards while minimising its environmental impact and ensuring the long-term security of herder livelihoods.
kindly dyed To create the CRUSH. colours that we all love, we use a European custom-made dye which are ISO accredited. Our high-quality dyes are gentle to skin and ensure that your cashmere piece never fades away.
ecological packaging CRUSH. is part of the sustainable movement to eliminate unnecessary plastic and to use 100% reusable and recyclable packaging. We use smart technology to ensure our packaging has as many sustainable and recyclable elements as possible. From our workshop to your door, we promise to reduce the carbon footprint of your CRUSH. parcel and produce minimal waste.
quality over quantity When starting CRUSH. we consciously chose slow over fast fashion; our cashmere is an all-natural fibre that is kind to your skin, kind to the planet, and built to last. When a cashmere piece is produced sustainably and considerately, we promise the final product is well worth it.
It is important for us to put back what we take from the world. Therefore, we are a proud partner of the Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA), a nonprofit organisation working to create a more sustainable cashmere supply chain.
The SFA work with key stakeholders to:
